This unique and rare creation of a Fernandes version of the Telecaster Bass models out there… but with unique twists:

The body is a wide telecaster shape: it’s a whisker wider than the Fender Tele models.
Pickups: Passive P-style split single coil pickup, but with handy active bass and treble boost/cut controls alongside the standard volume and tone controls.

Cosmetic: Black Gloss body with a large oversize tort pickguard (ie Tele-Deluxe style guard) adorned with gold hardware – tailpiece and tuners – which give it a very seedy sleek look which work together perfectly, lots of swagger.

Very comfy feel to the hand, easy to play.

Hardware: Solid, strong, and holds tune very well.

Body: resonates strongly and the neck is slick and quick.

The tone is a meaty, hair parting fullness with a hit of detail in the highs / mids.

Cosmetic condition: This was a player’s Bass. Has the typical worn looks of a players bass, but still just minor finish wear. The headstock has a small dent or two, nothing major, body has chips on typical areas along top, easy to cover with black paint or leave as is for a relic look.

The neck is clean and smooth, feels great in the hands.

Overall body has minor scuff or scratches (see pics) nothing really glaring or major. No cracks or repairs to body or neck and overall looks great.
